PORTRAITS

Drawing rough portraits inspired from great photographs does not question the authenticity of the work of art, rather it provides a new perspective to the living portrait captured in a camera. These sketches are also called 'fast sketches' where the time invloved to finalise these never took more than 20 minutes.

Old curls This is a real life reflection of a person I had met once in the streets of Bangalore. He was not in the category of everyday men like others,but he belonged to the street dwellers. I brightened him in my sketch added a customized specs and new hair design.
Unknown yet familiar A random sketch came live on an A4 sheet of paper. Later realized that this face looked similar to a strange person who was friends with my friend. Strange yet unfamiliar.
